Art Rhapsody Orff Music Education Centre

Art Rhapsody was founded in 2010 by the Wu sisters, a children's music education centre based on the German Orff music teaching method. Through professional education, training, lectures, and performances, we aim to let the public understand the performing arts and educational value of Orff teaching, thereby promoting the development of local Orff music. To promote and develop Orff music teaching methods, our Orff Music Education Centre provides diversified courses and services at different levels, allowing people of all ages to enjoy the fun of Orff music teaching methods, including children's music courses, instructor training, co-organized courses with multiple schools, and provision of Orff teaching books, CDs, music picture books, instruments, etc. In addition, to bring better learning quality to students, we have compiled our own teaching materials to make student learning more comprehensive and in-depth. To further promote Orff music, we have also established Hong Kong's first Hong Kong Children's Orff Band and the adult Hong Kong Orff Band, and have participated in many different public performances and competitions, including annual large-scale student concerts, invitations to perform at major shopping malls, media interviews, and volunteer performances for social welfare organizations, with encouraging results. In 2015, our centre co-organized Hong Kong's first Orff concert - "The 1st Children's Orff Music Gala" with Hong Kong Ling Liang Church Kindergarten, through observation and exchange between schools, to improve the level of children's music education and further promote the spirit of Orff music.
