Workshop

Past Workshop Activities

The workshop brings together the extensive teaching experience of senior children's Orff music instructors Kalms and Manchi, as well as the educational philosophy of Teacher Tracy Chen, who specializes in children's sensory integration, art, music, language, and play therapy. We hope to share the most suitable educational approach for children with parents and teachers, bringing the joy of play into families and schools.

During Easter 2018, we invited six professional musicians and music instructors to share the sounds and playing methods of various instruments. Children had the opportunity to try and experience different instruments such as wind instruments, string instruments, and percussion instruments. The program also included visual arts courses, with Arts & Craft instructors using Easter as the theme to cultivate children's interest in art.

The workshop focused on creative Boomwhackers ensemble, with instructors guiding participants to perform many famous pieces, such as the humorous "Pink Panther", the mysterious and exciting "Hall of the Mountain King", the Latin-flavored "Libertango", Bach's famous "Cantata", and more, experiencing a different kind of ensemble.

Music teaching training themed around children's picture books developed into integrated arts and black light theater, scene after scene of music and art combined teaching, broadening the horizons of participants' music teaching.

Music and drama, world music songs, and live teaching demonstrations for different ages, personally demonstrating the real aspects of classroom teaching, and showing how to apply them in children's classes.

An 8-session course with music at its core, combining various aspects of early childhood development, demonstrating diverse music teaching strategies and curriculum design, establishing good classroom management skills, enabling participants to fully master and effectively apply them.
