Director's Message

We understand children's learning patterns. According to expert Bette Fauth's research, each child has their own learning style: some children are primarily visual learners; some are primarily auditory (Aural) learners; and some are primarily kinesthetic learners. Learning through multi-sensory approaches yields the most fruitful results, which aligns perfectly with the Orff music education method. Therefore, our exclusively designed "Orff Music Enlightenment Course" targets different children's learning characteristics, allowing them to learn while singing and doing, learning from experience (Experiential Learning). What they learn is not just basic music knowledge, but through music they learn the ability to focus on reading, the ability to focus on listening, and the ability to focus on tasks - these are what today's children lack. Therefore, we hope that during the golden period of brain development, children can learn the best music and comprehensively improve their learning abilities. At the same time, we are the first in Hong Kong to establish the "Hong Kong Children's Orff Band®", building an excellent children's instrumental ensemble and providing various performance platforms, which have been well received. In addition to launching children's Orff courses, we provide professional training for music instructors and organize international workshops hosted by overseas Orff experts, allowing Hong Kong instructors to broaden their horizons, demonstrate diversified and innovative teaching methods, and inspire thinking about children's music learning. Furthermore, we actively promote Orff music to different levels of Hong Kong society. At the school level, we offer school workshops and school-based courses, directly extending Orff to children's learning; at the community level, we have established Hong Kong's first "Hong Kong Orff Band®" based on Orff philosophy, participating in and organizing various activities, including: "Children's Orff Gala", performances for various charitable organizations, hoping to bring the joy and happiness of music to all levels of Hong Kong society.
